Excellent film. Well directed and accurate depiction of the humanrights abuse of Sikhs in India. The characters have depth and theportrayal of events are typical of those reported in the archives. Thefilm employs many cinematic techniques to ensure that the drama doesnot let up too quickly.
Violence for violence itself is never good, however the actionsequences in the film were well justified anticomplement the plot verywell. The main hero is seen to take a beating and not just jumping allover the other protagonists. All in all a great Streaming and woulddefinitely recommend going to see it to anyone who enjoys good qualitycinema with a dose of realism that makes the movie only more enjoyableto Streaming..

This is an excellent movie which shows real story of Punjab and 1984Sikh struggle. It sheds light on the circumstances(like mass humanright abuses in India) which led Punjabis to take up arms against thesystem.
A well directed storyline exposes the reality of Indian Police andtheir barbaric means which were used to kill youth mercilessly. Themovie will also serve well as a medium to educate everyone about theproblems faced by Sikhs in post-independent India.
A marvelous effort and this movie can also be treated as a goldenchapter in Punjabi cinema. Hopefully other Punjabi and Indian moviemakers will get encouraged with this and make more movies based onreality.

Its a good attempt from Punjabi Cinema on lines ofBollywood............. Bollywood has minted a lot of money fromIndia-Pakistan politics based movies..... SO Punjabi directors thoughtwhy not use the same old idea to mint money.... Punjab has seen verytimes. Post operation bluestar was the worst time for Punjab. I havelived those times. People were scared to go out of their homes.Everyday non sikhs were pulled out of the buses and killed. I myself ama Sikh and have done a lot of research on Violence and Sikhism. None ofthe Gurus promoted Violence. But some idiotic people bring Guru GobindSingh's name to emotionally blackmail average IQ people. Religion isone thing that very easy to manipulate in common mob. Few of the powerhungry people manipulate normal mob's emotions. They get their powerand money but the mob suffers. During all this terrorism movement , itwas the common mob that suffered. Even this movie depicts that,although it failed to depict that a lot of non sikhs suffered a lotduring this. Overall I am just giving this movie 2/10, just because weneed to let heal of our old wounds rather than keeping thembleeding........... I don't know what other people saw in this movieand they kept giving EXCEPTIONAL to this movie. To me it was just halfreality portrayed, And Jazzy B song, comparing Guru Gobind SIngh withlow life terrorists, is absolutely blasphemous. Its Just like peoplegetting message out from GITA to kill people and Jehad justifyingkilling as well......... I guess people think what they want tothink.............
